Artists' letters: Acquisitions 2000-2004
The artists' letters and manuscripts acquired from 2000 to 2004 are listed below
(in French). The letters are arranged in alphabetical order of author's surname.
A database with a full listing of the letters and manuscripts in the Frits Lugt
Collection is currently in preparation. For the moment, it can only be consulted
by visitors to the Collection. The list of letters acquired between 1994 and
1999 is included in the publication Acquisitions Collection Frits Lugt 1994-1999,
Paris 2000. An inventory of letters written by French artists and acquired prior
to 1985 has been published in 1988: Inventaire des autographes d'artistes français
du XVe au XIXe siècle de la Fondation Custodia, collection Frits Lugt.
The letters and manuscripts may be viewed by appointment (see Address and Visit).
We regret that it is not possible to supply photocopies of the manuscripts.
